The camera angle every broadcast wants is from behind the plate, chest height, dead centre. At a youth field that spot is a chain-link backstop, and a phone does not stay there on its own.
The jaw opens to 2 inches and bites a fence rail, a dugout rail, a bleacher back or a 2x4 with the same rubber-lined grip. A tooth profile sized for 9-gauge chain link means it seats into the mesh instead of sliding down it, which is the failure that ruins the first inning of a broadcast.
Above the phone, a hinged shade hood folds out. It kills the reflection that makes a screen unreadable at 6pm in July, and it keeps direct sun off a phone that is encoding video, which is the other reason a stream dies in the third inning.
The head is a 360 degree ball with a locking collar: set it once, and it stays where you put it through a full game and a fence somebody leans on.
