Front row,
every game.

What it is

The video of your kid
is not a premium feature.

A volunteer's phone is the camera, one button starts it, and every family the coach lets in watches live, with no cap on viewers. That is the part the incumbent now caps at five and sells.

1button to go live

Cast it from a phone

Clamp a phone to the fence and tap once. 720p, low latency, recordings kept — no encoder, no laptop, no streaming bill.

2books, one game

Both dugouts score

Each dugout keeps its own book on the same game. Duplicates vanish, disagreements surface, and fielding credit comes from the team in the field.

4cameras on one game

Every angle you can staff

Home plate, first, third, outfield, dugout. Fans pick a camera or watch the grid, and the cuts stay in step.

How a game runs

Three people, three taps

Nobody needs a laptop, an encoder or a second device.

The scorekeeper's book: the diamond with runners on, the batter at the plate, and ball, strike, foul and in-play buttons

The scorekeeper

Taps balls, strikes and where the ball went; the book knows the rules and moves the runners. It works with no signal and pushes when the bars come back.

The book in the fourth, mid at-bat.
The streamer screen: a camera spot claimed, the other phones already filming, and the coach's approval outstanding

The volunteer

Picks a camera spot, the coach approves it in person with a QR code, and the phone is a broadcast. One button, landscape, screen stays awake.

Spot claimed, three phones already filming, waiting on the coach.
A team's page: a follow button, and tabs for the schedule, the roster, the video and the stats

Everyone else

Opens a link or follows the team. Live video, the count, the runners, the flight of every ball in play, and an announcer who knows the batter's name.

Follow a team; its games turn up here.
The booth

Somebody is
calling the game

A named announcer, an umpire behind the plate, and a crowd that reacts to what actually happened. Your player walks up and the PA says the name.

  • Play-by-play and colour, off the same taps the scorekeeper is making
  • A walk-up song and an announcement per player, chosen by the family
  • Crowd, ambience and umpire calls, mixed under the call
  • Captions on the fan page, so it works with the sound off

Announcer, umpire and crowd are part of Plus. Everything else on this page is free.

“Dunbar digs in, two and two, one away in the fifth…”

“…and he gets it. Line drive, left-centre gap, and that ties the ballgame.”

The record

It belongs to
the player

Stats, clips and reels follow a player across teams, clubs and seasons. A parent claims the record; at eighteen it hands over to the player.

  • Season batting, pitching and fielding lines, from real scored games
  • Every clip the auto-cutter made, free for a week, kept for the season on Plus
  • Spray chart and scout report on Plus
  • Player of the game, picked from the batting, pitching and fielding lines
A finished game: the player of the game with his batting and fielding line, the line score, and the box score open underneath

The end of a real scored game. The player of the game is worked out from the lines, not picked by a coach.

Questions

The ones everybody asks

Not here? Support answers the rest.

Is the video really free?

Yes, and it stays free: live video with no cap on viewers, and a week of replays and automatic clips of your player. Delivering video is the only bill that grows with the audience here, and it comes to about 75 cents per person per season. Charging a family to watch is a choice, not a cost.

What do I need to buy to stream a game?

A phone. The app is the encoder. A mount that clamps to the fence makes the picture steady and a power bank keeps the phone alive for a doubleheader — both are in the shop, and neither is required.

Is it in the App Store?

Not yet. Game Cast installs straight from the web onto the home screen, opens full screen and updates itself. A native iPhone app is being built; when it lands, your account, your teams and your player records are already there.

Who can watch my kid's game?

The coach decides. A game is visible to the teams and their followers, and a link is the handoff — sharing it is what lets someone in. Carrying a camera requires an account, deliberately: streaming a field full of children is not something to hand to an unidentified phone holding a forwarded link.

What if there is no signal at the field?

Scoring works offline. Taps queue on the phone and push when the bars come back; nothing is lost and nothing is double-counted. Video needs a connection, since it has to leave the field to be watched.

Baseball only?

Baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball and soccer today. Football is next, then lacrosse, track, cross country and swimming. Each sport lands with its own rules, clock and stats, because an app that half-knows a sport knows none of them; none of them will ever be a paid tier. The order and the state of each is on the features page.

Front row, every game.

Free for every family, every team. Nothing to install from a store; it goes on the home screen in four taps.
