Plenty of fields have an open backstop, a net, or a fence at the wrong height. The answer there is a stand that stands up in grass and does not blow over.
What it is
Extends from 20 in to 62 in in two sections with twist collars. The legs splay wide and the feet are rubber over a spike, so it sits on turf, on dirt and on a concrete dugout floor.
A ballast hook under the collar takes a bag, a bat, or the water bottle you brought. Use it. An unweighted stand and a gust of wind is a broken phone.
The clamp at the top is the same cradle as the Backstop mounts, so a hood fits it.
